WALK & RIDE
Shared Spaces: Streets
The city streets and sidewalks represent our most communally shared spaces. How we approach them, share them, consider or disregard them, is part of experiencing the public realm. Children learn to question, consider and imagine streets which are designed with various pedestrians in mind, people they know, their families and friends, themselves.
COURSE DURATION – 5, 10 or 15 weeks

COMMUNITIES & CITY-ZENS
Ideal Playground Planning
Playgrounds and green spaces are shared mini-cities in which children develop motor skills alongside the ability to play with others. Playgrounds are built for children, therefore why not allow children to become the architects of the only space in the public realm that is truly theirs. Children turn on their imaginations to consider the multitude of priorities to consider.
